The largest Northern Cape town on the N1, 623km from Johannesburg and 280km south of Kimberley.

Surrounded by koppies and flanked by the towering Coleskop, when the sun hits the horizon, the skies fill with brilliant hues, Coleskop’s previous name, Toverberg (Magic Mountain), seems more apt. So named because visible from 40km but appears to not get any closer.
